Sometimes it seems as if it brings you pleasure to make me cry while checking your tests...
Your results are...however, most of you learnt our active vocabulary that helped them to get SAT.
For those who still don't feel any difference between page and tape- it's impossible to be good at something by doing nothing.

Your hometask is:
At class we worked with some prepositions:
in front of, behind, near, between and among
We also tried to remember at last the construction there is/there are
So, yourhomework is to complete the task we started doing at class, know all our prepositions without mixing them up and know the difference between there is and there are.

Today we did the correction of mistakes.
Last time we wrote a small test and the results were awful, disgusting, dreadful + terrible(our active vocabulary)!!!
Today we made up sentences with our words and grammar that you should be aware of for our tomorrow's test.
You should brush up the following constructions:

There is an apple on the table.
There are five apples on the tree.


2. the forms of the verb to be in Present and Past Simple:

I'm  satisfied with your attitude to our classes. You continue doing your best!
As for your homework-
for those, who were today- please write down ex.5 p. 7 (W.B.) and learn it by heart.
for those who were absent- you have to copy ex.5 p.7 (please, ask your classmates to give it to you) and you will also have to learn it by heart, though, first, you must come (together) and read it with me in order to avoid mispronunciation.
Don't forget about our tomorrow's test- repeat all our new words and expressions.

Each lesson you surprise me more and more, my dear students!
Today we listened a lot and you did all the tasks pretty well.
Although, our lessons will be even more productive if you start learning our new words a bit faster than now.

Next time (hometask):
1. Next time we are going to have a small test, that's why you must study all our new words by heart.
2. You also should write down the sentences from ex. 4 p.6 (W.B.) in our clouds.

Yes, I know that today we were supposed to have two lessons, though, it happened so that I had two lessons simulteneously (you and the 11th grade), that's why one of the lessons you spent with Svetlana Robertovna, I'm sure you had a great time_)

As for our classroom activity, I see that you're trying to do your best and it's great! I really like working with you, guys!

Today we checked your homework, though you didn't do ex.10 and 11- I'm waiting for them next time.
We also made up and performed a dialogue.
We worked with our new words.

At home, please, do the following tasks:
1. repeat our expressions
2. make up sentences with all new words
3. learn them by heart, next time wewill write a small test.

I also gave you this hand-out in order to brush up you grammar a bit, if you don't have it, plaese, contact me and I'll send it to you.

Well, it's obvious that today is not my day_(  First my computer decided to stop working, than the students from the sixth grade came without their homework and to top all these things of the day we had a small incident with you that made us stay a bit longer than I planned.

Anyway, let's hope against hope. I believe that such things will never happen again.

As for our classroom activity, I remind you that we did the following things:
1. worked (hope learnt) a few new expressions;
2. listened a lot (and I should say- you managed to do all the listening tasks successfully!);
3. we also worked with some new words.
